Day 1 of X-Games and we are all super excited and ready to go! Since attending last year, we have said we will do our best to go every year following. Last year was unbearably hot but we knew what to expect for this year. Luckily a heat wave didn't come through again and we were able to attend with a little more comfort. I have always loved motocross, skateboarding, and BMX, but ever since Ryder (our little boy) picked up on these sports it's even more exciting. The extreme sports community is like no other. I am not a huge football fan, which is what people around here live for. When it comes to extreme sports it just hits home and the atmosphere is incredible. My favorite events at X-Games are Skate Street/Park, BMX Park, and Big Air. Even though I love motocross, I much prefer the racing side of it rather than freestyle or step up. Day 2 of X-Games was nothing short of amazing! It may have been or just felt a few degrees hotter but it was so much fun. As I was walking over to watch the skate park competition, a man allowed us to sit in the VIP section, which put us right on top of the park. The sun was BLAZING but a sick view made up for it :)

Day 3 is always the best/worst, it's a bittersweet moment. We woke up early and made sure to arrive right when the park had opened to get a good spot watching big air bmx/skate. This was the first time I had ever seen skaters teamed up with bmx riders and I loved it! To end our day we had front row seats to watch skate street and it was AMAZING! I cannot wait until next years shenanigans :)
