My AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge Experience

I feel like I never know where to begin because I have so much to say. Before committing to the 24 day challenge, I was unsure on if it was worth the cost. Being a distributor I do get a discount but it is still an "investment" so to speak. I finally decided to commit after working out for 23 years and eating pretty decent. My main struggle has always been sweets...I swear it's like the number one struggle of my life. Once diving into the challenge, I created a meal plan, and guidelines for not only myself but the people doing it with me as well. I kept in contact with everyone, and made sure all of their questions were answered throughout the process. This not only helped them, but it helped me to learn how these products changed different people. For me personally, I struggled the first week with sweets and then it just got easier. I was making my own meals, along with saving money on coffee and gas station stops. There comes a point where you have to want it for YOURSELF. Even though I messaged people and made sure they were doing ok, I could not force them to not eat that piece of cake at a birthday party or a dinner roll. It's up to them to want it bad enough. Even though I followed the meal plans for the most part, there were days where I would go to a restaurant and surprisingly, there wasn't much to choose from. One place we went to had a caesar chicken wrap and I had them remove the dressing and cheese, while adding tomatoes. I'm not saying it's easy but when is being healthy ever easy?!? It's not. I have taken away more from the challenge than I would have imagined...just this past week we took a trip to Houston, and rather than just eating what everyone else was eating, we made a trip to the local HEB and I chose healthier options. Throughout the next 24 days, I am going to stick with how I ate during the 24 day challenge for the most part, and show everyone that this isn't a fad diet. You don't do something like this and then eat like crap after, it's defeating the purpose. If anyone has questions, please feel free to ask!

Stay Strong & True to Yourself <3

xoxo Angelina
