What's in my coffee & why <3

When you start budgeting and realize your spending almost $100 a month at coffee shops...yah there's a problem haha. Especially when I have a keurig at home! Now to talk about what's in my coffee and why...when I originally started making my coffee at home, I really didn't care for the taste. I would make a cup and then buy a cup later that day because I didn't drink what I had made. Once I was set on making a healthy, yet great tasting coffee, I began looking into creamers. I wanted something that I knew wouldn't be harsh on my stomach like dairy milk, so I opted for a a almond milk option. I came across the brand Califia Farms, which is a creamer made with almond milk, this is dairy and soy free, which I knew would solve my upset stomach. I then began reading the ingredients and majority of creamers are packed with "empty sugars" like I had talked about the other day, so I double checked to see what type of sugar was in this creamer and it was pure cane sugar. To my relief the small amount of 3 grams of sugar per serving was NOT an empty sugar. This company uses all natural ingredients in all of their products and it tastes great! Now to talk about actual sugar...I'm the type of girl who adds AT LEAST 5 spoon full's of regular sugar to my coffee, just so it will taste good! Clearly, that would ruin my entire sugar intake for the day. So I opted for the next best thing, which I have found to be Truvia. Truvia is an all natural sweetener, which is derived from a stevia leaf. The key word all natural is just what I was looking for!

Now that I have my creamer and sugar, I had to search for a good K-Cup coffee. I know everyone will be different when it comes to this but I recently discovered the "Breakfast Blend" & "Cafe Special" by Community Coffee to be my favorites!

I throw those 3 ingredients together and I have the perfect morning or afternoon coffee <3

I'm so glad you looked at it! The only place I've been able to find this one is Whole Foods. They have other flavors as well. It has taken me years to try and make a coffee I like and I really do love this!

This is the first time I read your blog and I'm really glad I did! This morning I had the biggest dilemma. No creamer. (I recently switched from milk tto regular almond milk and didn't care for the taste of the almond milk in my coffee) . I've just been buying the regular old creamer. So next time I went grocery shopping I wanted to try to find a healthier option. My boyfriend got me to switch over to Truvia and I love it. He suggested I just drink my coffee black and add Truvia like him. But that will never happen. So I'm really excited that you posted this. Where are you able to find this creamer at??
