Is it just me or did January fly by! I swear it was just yesterday I was telling myself about how I would be killing it this month and then BAM were in February. I don’t know about y’all but January was ROUGH. I know Louisiana doesn’t get extremely cold like other places but I felt way off this month. I still went to the gym daily and ate decent but just the other week I probably had cake every single day and sonic three times in one weekend. I gained a few pounds and felt like I failed. For two days I was hard on myself about it and I finally told myself…getting back on track won’t help by feeling sorry for myself. We traveled a lot this month and the food was convenient but it’s ok! I got back on track and the pounds are gone.
The reason I’m sharing this is because many people go on diets and have bad days and then give up. I personally don’t diet per say but I try and eat healthy. Just remember that this is about YOU. All I have on my mind is summer and I know what I want to look like so now it’s time for me to step it up and make it happen. Whatever your goals may be, now is the time. Don’t get down if your not where you want to be or you ate two slices of king cake…I promise you will be ok! I decided to help those of you who do not go to the gym regularly and want to start or those of you who need some guidance on what to do at the gym. Keep in mind these are basic workouts and you can either cut it in half or you can add to it. This is just a guide to help you. Last month I talked about portion control and that’s what’s helped me not go overboard. Yes I ate cake and fast food but it was never a large amount…Just keep that in mind <3
