The ever so fabulous tummy area :P For most women and some men, we struggle with losing belly fat and we have no idea why. Here are 5 reasons you may fall into this category and how to change it up!

No4 Feeling Down

 

  • Women with depressive symptoms are far more likely to have extra belly fat. The simplest way to fix this is by exercising! It helps to improve levels of brain chemicals that regulate metabolism of fat, as well as your mood.

 

No5 Boxed Food

 

  • Simple carbs and added sugar cause your blood sugar to spike, which triggers a flood of insulin. This hormone encourages your liver to store fat in the middle. Try adding a healthy flare to your meals, rather than focusing your time on cutting out junk.
