Why Spending Time Alone Can Help You Daily

About a year ago I started to realize how important, "Alone Time" really is. We live in a world that is filled with so much that we lose track of who we are. I was pregnant at 19 and had Ryder at the age of 20, while in college, taking care of a home and working. Somewhere in there, I lost ME. I lost who I really was and what my goals for life were. Over a year ago, I made a huge life decision that has been far from easy but has also brought peace because I'm finally doing what's best for me. Once Ryder began Mother's Day Out around the age of 4, I had a little more time to myself and that's when I started to realize that I wasn't where I wanted to be in my life and had completely lost faith in God. With that being said, for the past 7 months I have been living fully on my own without the help of anyone. It has been extremely tiresome, mentally/physically exhausting and down right difficult BUT being alone so much has shown me who I really am. If I would have taken time for myself years ago, I may not be where I am today. 

Here are some benefits to "Me" time:

1) A better understanding of who YOU are

2) Knock out more house work or daily work

3) Explore possibilities for what you want in your life

4) Quiet time can help you sort through problems or things that have been on your mind

5) There's simply NO pressure. The only person you have to compete with, is who you were the day before
