It's the day before Thanksgiving and two days before Black Friday. The pressure is on for parents to find the perfect holiday gifts for their little ones and that madness has already begun! I wanted to share with y'all a new game that recently came out that not only Ryder loves but I love as well. Every year for Christmas and Birthdays, we have filled the presents with Hot Wheels and Race Tracks. Even though Ryder loves these gifts, he always manages to break them or lose pieces to the tracks. Now that we have discovered Osmo - Hot Wheels Mind Racers, our problem has been solved! The game is super interactive with the kids and the mess is so much less. All you need is the Osmo Mind Racers Set, the iPad base and an iPad of any size!

If you have a little one who prefers other games, be sure to check out there website for other interactive game sets!

Today I wanted to share with you guys this amazing cutting board! The wood used to make these magnificent boards are Acacia and Rubberwood, which are both eco friendly. What I love most is the unique designs of the boards and the durability. Not only are they durable and smooth but they're also lightweight, which makes it easier when having to store or take with you on the go.

Have A Little Faith - The FaithBox http://www.angelinawagnon.com/blog/2017/11/have-a-little-faith---the-faithbox Have A Little Faith - The FaithBox

Happy Sunday Everyone!

I don't know about y'all but it has been crazy around here. Half my week is spent photographing people and the other half is editing them haha. Somewhere in there I breath, spend time with my family and share amazing products with y'all. Today I wanted to share The FaithBox. There are many companies out there that send you a box once a month with clothes, make up, dog treats, etc. but this is something a little different. It's a box filled with Faith Items. As you can see below in the photo there's a book, pouch bag, prayer booklet, and other goodies that help those in need with every purchase. Every Sunday I go to church (or try to at least) and give the glory to the man of above. This little box is perfect to get you through the month when you may be down or need a reminder of why God has put you where you are today. Each month you'll receive a new box, filled with new goodies!

GoSun Sport-Camping Stove http://www.angelinawagnon.com/blog/2017/10/gosun-sport-camping-stove GoSun Sport Camping Stove

If you live in Lafayette, LA and have been outside today, you will know how perfect the weather is right now. Everyday is a roller coaster here when it comes to the weather but I'm absolutely LOVING it! Today Effie and I had a backyard picnic to celebrate the cooler weather. I recently received my GoSun Sport Solar Stove and I am IN LOVE. My family and I love to go camping, hiking, or just take fun trips to different parks and this stove is a lifesaver! It's super lightweight and you doesn't require anything else, other than the great outdoors. Whether it's cold outside, super sunny, or even a gloomy day, the solar stove works PERFECTLY. Below are some images of what was made. I started off with some yummy banana nut muffins and then whipped up some veggies. You cannot beat how compact and easy to use this stove is!

Here's the link to the larger GoSun Grill for those of you that like to REALLY get cookin on your trips :)

10 Pounds Up + 14 Pounds Down http://www.angelinawagnon.com/blog/2017/10/10-pounds-up-14-pounds-down 10 Pounds Up + 14 Pounds Down

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Today I wanted to talk to you about how I ended up 10 pounds heavier in a years time, to 14 pounds down in 6 months. This isn't your average story of weight loss/gain, today it gets real. I spent an extremely long time putting myself through a living hell when it came to my size. I spent many years being criticized for being heavier in high school, just to be criticized for being too skinny once in college. My weight in high school was around 140 Lb., college/after having Ryder around 118Lb., 6 months ago 134Lb. & now I'm a happy 120 Lb. What changed?

The Weight Gain:

I went from 124 pounds to 134 pounds within a year because I needed to detox from bad habits. My eating disorder wasn't considered extreme but it also wasn't healthy and it would come and go. I hated myself no matter what my size was, I would cut out meals, workout for hours at a time to burn off what I had eaten throughout the day. It was an endless cycle that had never been resolved because I never saw it as an issue. If you think about it, more people around you probably have a similar eating disorder. It's one thing to workout and want to look your best, it's another thing to look in the mirror and never be satisfied with what you see. Kind of like plastic surgery but I surely couldn't afford that haha. You can take something so harmless as wanting to look your best, and turn it into a self destructive path.

Have you ever heard the saying, "You must love yourself before you can love anyone else?" Hello world, that was me. I was so consumed with what I looked like in my own head, that it didn't matter what anyone told me. How could it? If I was 140 Lb. I was fat, if I was 120 Lb. I was too skinny. This was a huge issue within inside myself that I had to overcome alone. With that being said, once I decided to stop killing myself and weighing myself 5x a day, I gained a whopping 10 pounds but I didn't even see it happening. I had stopped weighing myself, I knew my clothes were getting more snug (I thought it was the squats) and I stopped killing myself in the gym. Before I knew it, I was 134 pounds and crying...How pathetic? BUT I didn't resort back to my old ways and that was key. What did I do...

The Weight Loss:

BE HAPPY. If you're happy and loving life, your body will follow. I eat what I want (within reason) and I weigh myself maybe twice a week to stay on track. I rarely workout and of course I'd love to fix things about myself but I can honestly say, I love who I am. This isn't some crazy diet, it's me letting go and letting life take over. My family and I go for walks every evening, I keep track of my steps on my phone, we ride bikes, walk the dog, and mainly just stay active and healthy. Change up your daily routing and have fun with it.

I hope this didn't ruin your day by not revealing some crazy weight loss secret but it's the truth. STOP killing yourself to love yourself. Just have self love and the rest will follow <3

Wear Panda - the Naturalist http://www.angelinawagnon.com/blog/2017/10/wear-panda---the-naturalist Wear Panda - the Naturalist

Hello Everyone!

Unfortunately, fall has yet to arrive here in Louisiana and it was about 100 degrees today. After taking a stop to see the new lego movie, we took a stroll in River Ranch and I wanted to share my new Wear Panda watch with you guys! After it arrived in the mail, I couldn't way to show it off. As many of you know, I've been vegan since June and have been striving to help our beautiful planet. The Naturalist watch is made of eco-friendly bamboo, Portuguese cork and Vegan Leather, it is just too perfect! I love how lightweight it is and that it has a lifetime warranty. I'm always on the go and need a watch that can be dressed up or down. I hope y'all love it as much as I do!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

I hope y'all had an awesome weekend and are ready to start your Monday off right. We spent all Saturday at the MX track and unfortunately Michael broke his heal in practice. Between Ryder and Michael breaking bones, I'm rethinking my teaching degree haha. On the plus side, I was able to work with an awesome company called K.Bell Socks, that I wanted to share with you all. After testing these pretty socks out, they are a favorite of mine. Between the socks being super soft, lightweight and form fitting, I'm in love and my socks addiction has grown! To view me hanging out in my K.Bell Socks, check out the images below and be sure to check out their site, or you can find them on Amazon!

Never Allow Life to Define You http://www.angelinawagnon.com/blog/2017/9/never-allow-life-to-define-you Never Allow Life to Define You

We're going to get deep this Monday morning because there's been so much on my mind lately, in regards to "Life" itself. We live in a 9-5 world, where we're expected to wake-up, go to work, come home, tend to our family, repeat...You have two days on the weekend to enjoy your time off and then the cycle starts over. I'm not saying quit your job or be miserable all day, but what if the time off was spent really making memories. Setting our phones down, being in the moment and truly being present. There's so much "life" happening around us, that it's hard to catch a breath. Between the hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, and record breaking forest fires, where's the good? There is good in this world and we define it for ourselves. I've been working really hard on not letting things bring me down, when realistically, it's not the end of the world. I'm writing this to tell you, take time of you. Evaluate how you can make a change in your life to be happier. Whether it's going for an afternoon walk with your family or pup, go see a movie to get your mind off of what's happening in life, read a book, make a list, etc. There's so many things you can do to create more happiness in this world and today's the day!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Am I the only one who is completely exhausted from the weekend!? My friends and I spent the weekend in Austin, TX celebrating one of my best friends bachelorette parties. Needless to say, we had a blast! But now I'm ready to sleep for a month straight haha.

I wanted to talk about my life savor on this trip, That's It! Vegan bars. Between driving 10 hours from Lafayette to Austin, passing through crazy traffic with high waters, these bars came in handy. Between the 4 different flavors, I was able to change it up constantly throughout the trip. From car rides, to hanging out at the river, these were the perfect 80 calorie snacks and they're completely all natural! It's hard to find food bars that taste good and that are good for you as well. If you're ever need a little pick me up or a new veggie bar to add to your daily routine, be sure to check out That's It! (They even carry fruit bars as well)

Broken Femur to Therapy http://www.angelinawagnon.com/blog/2017/8/broken-femur-to-therapy Broken Femur to Therapy

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Wait...I can't believe it's only Sunday! After spending 4 days in the hospital and two days at home (mostly indoors) we are becoming stir crazy. I'm sure many of you already know from my Facebook and Instagram posts but Ryder broke his femur this past Monday. He had never been wake boarding before and had been begging us to go! We originally had planned on taking him to wakeboarding camp at BSR in Texas but with his broken wrist in June, we had to re-evaluate our trip. Unfortunately, Monday was his first time to ever wakeboard and he did AMAZING. We didn't think much about the barrel in the water, not knowing it was clearly a huge danger for Ryder. Everyone keeps asking why it's there and we have no idea! Neither Michael or I wakeboard and Ryder wasn't really expected to be doing laps on his first day. Regardless, accidents happen and luckily I was close enough to where he was (he wanted me to video him & yes, I have the crash on video) to drop my camera, jump in the water and help him. Once I flipped him over and took his boots off, I knew it was broken by the swelling. When I told Michael what I thought, he said there was no way because Ryder was barely screaming and he didn't have a single tear. Thankfully, even with not knowing for sure, we decided to put a backboard in the water and carried him to the truck. From there we slid him in the vehicle and drove straight to women & children's hospital, here in Lafayette. Once we arrived, they helped get him out of the car and of course X-Ray's were performed, resulting in a broken femur. I immediately began crying after seeing the X-Ray but knew that things could be much worse. Thanks to everyone's prayers, Ryder's surgery was a success and now here we are!

The past two days I've pulled him around the neighborhood in the wagon and today was the first day we've left the house (it's only been two days but feels like a year) to get some exercise in before going to walgreen's. As you can see in the photos below, Ryder loves his tech deck on the wagon rides and he also felt like he needed to model while I snapped some photos at the park!

DISCLAIMER: Ryder is not Vegan if you're wondering about the redox photo haha

Punchbowl Falls - Oregon http://www.angelinawagnon.com/blog/2017/7/punchbowl-falls---oregon Punchbowl Falls - Oregon

The hike to punchbowl falls was 110% worth it. We started our hike in the morning around 9:00, which I highly recommend because of the parking circumstances. Be sure to pack plenty of water and snacks for this hike! If you're searching for punchbowl falls it is located in the Columbia River Gorge on the Eagle Creek Trail about 30 minutes outside of Portland, OR.

(always remember cash to put in the park boxes.)

The fall below was right next to Punch Bowl Falls and if you're brave enough, there were people jumping in from the fall and log! Stay Strong & True to Yourself <3

Gone Vegan: Why, How, The Struggle. http://www.angelinawagnon.com/blog/2017/7/gone-vegan-why-how-the-struggle Gone Vegan: Why, How, The Struggle.

Hi Everyone & Happy Monday!

Today I’m going to talk about the newest and greatest thing in my life…Being Vegan. Now don’t get me wrong, I haven’t made the transformation fully but I seem to do well most days. For the longest time when I would hear about someone being vegan, I assumed it was because they loved animals and didn’t want to see them being killed for their meat. Little did I know, there’s so much more to it than just that. I’ve watched documentaries before about chickens being jammed into tiny spaces, while being injected with hormones but I never stopped eating meat because of it. That’s why I’m dedicating this blog post to explain more about my decision and the decision you could possibly make for yourself.

Why?

Why be vegan? I have a brother who was vegan most days, I have vegan friends, but why the change for me? After watching the documentary, “What the Health” two weeks ago with Michael and Ryder, I decided to make the change. I’m not going to go into details about what the documentary talks about, but I will tell you that it all makes so much sense. Our bodies aren’t meant to digest chemicals and all of this processed food that companies are pouring money into for us to be bombarded with on television and social networking sites. On every corner of the supermarket you’re going to see chips, cookies, sodas etc. being displayed because that’s what the food industry can make the most money off of. Not to mention, doctors are making a killing off of prescription meds to try and tame all of these diseases rather than cure them. I’ve always been against medication for myself. After having Ryder, the doctors are willing to put you on anti depressants for post partum and I never once took mine. I have many friends and family members who rely on medication for their health but I refuse to put myself into that situation personally.

In addition to everything stated above, I also wanted a lifestyle change that would make me feel better. There’s not a diet in the world that I would stick to…even if it told me I could look like Jennifer Anniston when I’m 50. I NEEDED something that would make me wake up in the morning and feel ready for the day. That’s how I ended up here…eating cucumber slices as I type this.

How?

How do you go Vegan cold turkey? You don’t…or not for me at least. The decision I had made did happen suddenly but I knew it wouldn’t be easy. After making this decision, I immediately went to pinterest/google to start finding recipes and understanding what nutrients I would need to take in to remain healthy. Once I gained all of this information, I began planning different meals and finding replacement options at restaurants. You’re best bet is to never eat out (kidding) but really…that might be the hardest thing. I haven’t been vegan for long but I do recommend taking baby steps and truly make this decision for YOU.

The Struggle.

Last but not least, the struggle. Whether we’re eating a regular diet or we’re on a diet, there’s always a hill to climb. My biggest struggle right now is learning to cook without eggs, not throwing cheese on everything (mainly restaurants, I have dairy free cheese at home) and ensuring that when I go out to eat, butter isn’t being used. Clearly the biggest issue is going out to eat. I’m always on the go, so I do feel like this will always be a struggle for me. Not to mention, milk is used in pretty much everything!

As my journey continues, I will keep everyone updated on the changes that take place <3

Stay Strong & True to Yourself <3
